I've just committed another project of mine to Google code repository.

Grumblr - is a Tumblr companion for GNOME. You can post text messages, links, quotes, conversation logs, even photos, video and audio clips to your tumbleblog directly from Linux desktop. You will need ruby, ruby-gtk2, ruby-gconf2, rubygems and rest-client gem in order to run that software. Try it, hack it and send patches to improve.
Hi there, it seems to be a really useful tool for me, but everytime I try to log in, I only get an "Authentication failed" though my e-mail, my pw and my firewall-settings are correct. Any Suggestions to solve this?

@kasten, you should use your email, not nickname in order to log in to tumblr.

@kasten, please try version 2.2.0, there are some changes to make it work along with the latest rest-client lib.

Greetings, Since your last update to 2.2.0 grumblr doesn't want to change

Could you please provide more details, like grumbler doesn't want to change to what? Feel free to use Issues page of the grumbler project on github.com to create a ticket.

@kasten try this: $ rm =r ~/.gconf/apps/grumblr; killall gconfd-2 and after that grumblr will start with clean profile
